I recently visited the Town of Southbury Parks and Rec and I have to say, it was an average experience. The facilities were okay, but nothing extraordinary. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall atmosphere was lacking. I was expecting more from a town recreation center. However, I must say that the classes and programs offered were diverse and interesting. It's a decent place to get some exercise or try something new, but don't expect to be blown away.
