Nous avons été très satisfaits des soins que notre mère / belle-mère récemment décédée a reçus au CAMA au cours des deux dernières années. Le personnel était professionnel, attentionné et sympathique. Nous pensons que CAMA était exceptionnel.

Ma belle-mère a passé plus de 4 ans en tant que résidente à CAMA Woodlands. Elle a reçu les meilleurs soins de tous les membres du personnel, montrant toujours son respect, sa patience, sa compassion et son amour au cours de son difficile parcours avec la maladie d'Alzheimer. Maman a bénéficié du programme Butterfly pour les soins de la démence, en se concentrant sur ses besoins individuels. Quel succès ce programme a été, et le personnel doit être admiré pour tout ce qu'il a contribué. Je me sens béni que maman ait eu la «famille» de CAMA qui s'occupe d'elle pendant ses dernières années avec nous.

Ma tante est allée à Cama Woodlands parce que nous avons déménagé à Waterdown. Les soins étaient adéquats, mais ils ont été très négligents et elle est décédée à cause de leur négligence. Ma tante est tombée et s'est cognée la tête et la tempe. Ils ne m'ont appelé (personne-ressource de la famille) que bien plus tard et bien qu'elle ait vomi, ils ont dit qu'elle allait bien. Maintenant, ils savaient qu'elle prenait des anticoagulants et qu'elle aurait dû être emmenée à l'hôpital pour subir une scintigraphie cérébrale pour voir s'il y avait des saignements au cerveau. Ils n'ont pas. Ma mère (sa sœur) était à l'hôpital Joseph Brant et quand ils m'ont appelé, j'étais là et j'allais la voir plus tard. Je suis rentré à la maison pour laisser sortir les chiens avant d'aller voir ma tante. J'ai reçu un appel téléphonique de l'une des infirmières disant que ma tante n'avait pas voulu souper et voulait juste aller au lit. Elle l'a couchée et elle était NON-RÉPONSE. Au lieu d'appeler l'ambulance immédiatement, ils m'ont appelé pour lui demander s'il était normal qu'elle ne leur réponde pas (maintenant elle était là depuis presque 2 ans). Je leur ai dit NON et pour eux d'appeler l'ambulance immédiatement. On m'a dit qu'elle ne le pouvait pas à moins que le médecin ne leur en donne l'ordre. Je leur ai donné exactement 1 minute pour me rappeler pour me dire qu'ils les avaient appelés et dans les 30 secondes. elle a rappelé en disant que l'ambulance était en route. Mon fils était passé et en peu de temps, alors que je quittais la maison, le médecin urgentiste de Joseph Brant a appelé pour lui dire que si je voulais la voir vivante, je me rendais là-bas parce qu'elle avait une hémorragie cérébrale grave et que rien ne pouvait être terminé. Alors ma tante est PASSÉE EN RAISON DE LA NÉGLIGENCE DE CAMA WOODLANDS. Ils n'ont pas pris la responsabilité de leurs actes ou leur manque là-bas ... Très triste ma mère a perdu sa sœur cadette et j'ai perdu un bon ami et mon fils a perdu sa marraine à cause de la Négligence du personnel de Cama Woodlands. Méfiez-vous de ce qui se passe. J'avais observé plusieurs résidents avec de graves contusions à plusieurs reprises. Je dis juste! Appelé le gouvernement à ce sujet et RIEN n'a été fait, pas même une enquête!

Ma mère a passé sa dernière année et demie au CAMA. Ma famille et moi avons trouvé le personnel attentionné, compatissant et respectueux. L'établissement était toujours propre et bien entretenu. J'ai toujours senti que ma mère était entre de bonnes mains et que j'étais tenue informée. J'étais un visiteur régulier ici et j'ai observé comment, non seulement ma mère, mais aussi les autres résidents étaient traités avec amour par des travailleurs de soutien personnel et d'autres membres du personnel. Je recommande vivement CAMA Woodlands.
