Garber United Methodist Church est une communauté de foi dynamique et accueillante située à New Bern, en Caroline du Nord. Avec une riche histoire remontant à 1884, l'église Garber répond aux besoins spirituels de ses membres et de la communauté au sens large depuis plus d'un siècle.
À Garber Church, nous croyons que le culte est au cœur de notre foi. Nous proposons deux services le dimanche matin pour s'adapter aux différents horaires et préférences. Notre service de 8h a lieu dans le sanctuaire et offre un style de culte plus traditionnel avec des hymnes, la liturgie et la communion. Notre service de 11h a lieu à Morris Hall et propose de la musique contemporaine dirigée par notre groupe de louanges.
En plus de nos services du dimanche, nous offrons une variété de programmes pour les enfants, les jeunes et les adultes tout au long de la semaine. Nos cours d'école du dimanche offrent des opportunités d'apprentissage et de camaraderie pour tous les âges. Nous avons également de petits groupes qui se réunissent régulièrement pour l'étude de la Bible, la prière ou d'autres intérêts communs.
Chez Garber Church, nous nous engageons à servir les autres à la fois localement et globalement. Nous soutenons plusieurs ministères locaux tels que les services communautaires religieux (RCS) qui fournissent une aide alimentaire aux personnes dans le besoin dans le comté de Craven. Nous travaillons également en partenariat avec des organisations internationales telles que Imagine No Malaria qui travaille à éradiquer le paludisme en Afrique.
