L'amour et les soins que ma mère a reçus tout en pouvant rester dans sa maison sont au-delà des mots. Le personnel qui a rendu visite ainsi que le personnel qui a pris des appels téléphoniques ont été d'une grande aide pour toute la famille. Nous serons toujours reconnaissants.

Dans l'ensemble, les hospices offrent des soins de fin de vie. J'exhorte fortement toute personne utilisant ce service à comprendre que vous renoncez à votre droit de superviser les soins. Ils ont leur propre médecin qui ne verra pas votre proche, ni vous, mais dépend plutôt de diverses infirmières ou travailleurs pour évaluer quel médicament, combien, à quelle fréquence il sera administré. Vous n avez pas votre mot à dire. Vous pouvez les renvoyer, mais si vous êtes dans un établissement, ils ne vous permettront pas de rester à moins que les protocoles de soins palliatifs ne soient suivis. Vous ne pouvez pas non plus simplement partir et ramener votre proche à la maison.
Je viens de vivre ce cauchemar. Je ne le ferais plus jamais. Au lieu de cela, demandez à votre propre médecin de votre proche de prescrire tous les médicaments, à la maison avec une assistance palliative. NE JAMAIS LES UTILISER DANS UN ÉTABLISSEMENT DE SOINS.

Ils ont prodigué des soins merveilleux à mon beau-père et nous avons été très satisfaits de leurs services. Il aimait son personnel, en particulier son infirmière. Je recommanderais cet hospice.

Ma mère était en soins palliatifs la dernière année de sa vie et notre famille a décidé d'utiliser Guardian Angel Hospice. Ma mère vivait à Wesley Manor Retirement Community à Frankfort Indiana. Nous n'aurions pas pu être plus satisfaits. La communication, les services et la compassion étaient superbes.
