Ma fille est allée aux urgences de Gallatin pour une douleur intense, comme son docteur l'avait suggéré. Elle a été placée dans une pièce sans couvertures, sans oreillers, sans bouton d'appel (elle a demandé une couverture et n'en a jamais reçu). Quand j'ai porté cela à l'attention du Dr, elle a simplement hoché la tête. Ils lui ont dit qu'ils allaient commencer à boire, et après 4 heures, ils ne l'ont jamais fait. L'échantillon d'urine qu'elle a donné n'est jamais arrivé au laboratoire. Ils ont proposé de prendre un autre spécimen.

Maintenant, je me rends compte que l'urgence n'est pas un hôtel, et il y a des gens avec des blessures graves et potentiellement mortelles et il faut parfois attendre. Je comprends ça. Ce que je ne comprends pas, c'est l'absence totale d'empathie. Le docteur avec qui j'ai parlé était très bref et dédaigneux. Je pourrais même laisser cette diapositive, SI ils avaient fait quelque chose pour l'aider. Au lieu de cela, elle a été renvoyée chez elle avec la promesse de l'appeler avec un rendez-vous pour une autre procédure. Cette ER fait complètement défaut dans de nombreux domaines!
