J'ai soigné ma mère pendant les dernières années de sa vie. Pendant la majeure partie de ce temps, les infirmières de district ont été utiles et solidaires. En avril 2020, une personne qui n'avait aucune idée réaliste de la fragilité de sa mère a fait une intervention qui a entraîné une douleur atroce (c'était la première fois en 65 ans que je voyais ma mère pleurer), et une infection. L'infirmière a sonné et j'ai signalé que maman souffrait beaucoup. Elle a répondu que c'était bien. J'ai répété ce que j'ai dit. Lentement. Clairement. Sa réponse n'a pas changé. Je lui ai dit que je ne pensais pas que c'était bien et que je déposerais une plainte. Une infirmière qui a appelé le lendemain semblait plus inquiète, mais a dit que la douleur était normale. Tout ce que nous avions était du paracétamol. Nous nous sommes sentis totalement impuissants.

Comme je l'ai découvert plus tard en voulant savoir ce qu'ils avaient écrit dans leurs notes, j'ai vu qu'aucun des deux n'avait enregistré la douleur. J'ai également découvert que l'infirmière 1 avait décidé que ma plainte devait être traitée au moyen d'une enquête de sauvegarde. Et en me dépeignant comme un hystérique. Très années 50. Cela a commencé trois jours avant la mort de ma mère, aidée par un frère ou une sœur souffrant d'un trouble psychologique qui a fourni quelques contre-vérités de choix pour aider l'affaire.

La fiducie a présenté des excuses, mais l'infirmière s'en est sortie avec son comportement non professionnel. Je pense que nous méritons mieux. Je ne méritais pas l'assassinat de personnage que certaines infirmières ont utilisé pour aider à dissimuler l'échec de soulager la souffrance de maman.

Les autres infirmières étaient fabuleuses.

Il est très difficile de travailler avec eux, le personnel m'a dit que vous n'aviez que 2 semaines pour prendre rendez-vous après avoir reçu leur lettre, puis ils annulent la recommandation de votre médecin. Chaque fois que j'appelle, je reçois une histoire différente de la part du personnel, ils semblent aimer expliquer pourquoi ils ne peuvent pas aider au lieu de trouver une solution - c'est comme s'ils étaient payés pour vous empêcher d'avoir accès aux soins. Je me sens mal pour tous ces seniors qui essaient d'obtenir de l'aide pour améliorer leur santé. Fermez cet endroit et ouvrez un bien meilleur groupe à leur place où leurs actions correspondent à leurs paroles (= intégrité) et le service est d'aider les gens! Il y a de merveilleux médecins à Richmond, cet endroit laisse tomber tout le monde à Richmond.
