Je suis allé il y a quelques années pour une évaluation des adultes concernant mes luttes sociales et à l'université. Elle m'a fait faire quelques exercices enfantins et humiliants, puis a rédigé un diagnostic cinglant et condescendant en disant essentiellement que tout était dans ma tête et que j'imaginais des choses. C'est environ 3 ou 4 ans plus tard et j'ai été définitivement diagnostiqué avec le TDAH et le SSPT après des années à essayer de paraître «normal» dans le monde neurotypique. Plutôt triste que quelqu'un qui est censé se spécialiser dans la reconnaissance neurodivergente manque quelque chose d'aussi évident. Cela a vraiment ralenti mes progrès pour finalement m'améliorer.

J'ai du mal à comprendre pourquoi Neuro Development a raté ce diagnostic. Économisez de l'argent et consultez un physicien qui est couvert par votre assurance, ils sont plus susceptibles de vous diagnostiquer correctement plus que Neuro Development.

Notre fils a été évalué ici et le Dr Barth était vraiment incroyable. Elle a rendu chaque étape du processus facile et éducative. Une fois que mon fils a été diagnostiqué avec un retard de langage, elle nous a donné plusieurs ressources et nous a parlé de chacune d'entre elles. Je recommande vivement le Dr Barth et tout le personnel aimable du NeuroDevelopment Center of Colorado !!!
