TraduitLe 19 juillet 2019, nous avons subi d'importants dommages dus à la grêle sur le toit de notre maison à Monument, dans le Colorado. J'ai contacté Whitney Smith de Seaback Roofing and Restoration pour évaluer le toit et déterminer si une réclamation d'assurance devrait être faite. Après son inspection du toit, il a été décidé qu'une réclamation devait être déposée auprès de notre compagnie d'assurance.
Après l'inspection du toit par notre compagnie d'assurance, nous avons reçu un chèque pour notre réclamation, et nous avons embauché Seaback Roofing and Restoration pour effectuer les réparations. Les travaux ont commencé sur notre toit le 15 août 2019.
Jusque-là, il y avait eu des retards mineurs. Lorsque j'ai comparé la feuille de ce qui était censé être réparé selon la réclamation d'assurance, à ce que Seaback Roofing avait réparé, nous avons rencontré des divergences. Au départ, il y a eu un retard parce qu'un puits de lumière de taille incorrecte a été livré. Il a fallu des semaines pour installer le bon puits de lumière. De nouveaux évents sur le toit devaient être installés et après une inspection plus approfondie, ils ne l'ont jamais été. Cela a été résolu par Seaback Roofing seulement après que j'ai protesté et demandé s'ils avaient inspecté le travail effectué par l'équipe de toiture. Il y avait des dommages à un cadre de fenêtre extérieur qui ont pris des semaines à résoudre et la réparation finale a impliqué l'utilisation intensive de silicone transparent pour la réparation.
Une fois que Seaback Roofing and Restoration a déterminé que ses réparations étaient terminées, nous avons été facturés et le paiement final a été effectué le 4 octobre 2019.
Le 26 octobre 2019, nous avons remarqué une fuite d'eau importante provenant du plafond de la salle de jeux de nos enfants. J'ai immédiatement informé Seaback Roofing and Restoration de la fuite. Seaback n'a pris aucune mesure avant le 16 novembre 2019, lorsqu'une personne s'est présentée pour réparer la cloison sèche du plafond. Comme en témoignent les photos, le travail effectué était extrêmement insalubre. Après avoir protesté, une autre équipe a été envoyée pour réparer la réparation. Encore une fois, leur travail était de qualité inférieure, comme en témoigne leur volonté de réutiliser l'isolant trempé du plafond. J'ai de nouveau protesté et Seaback a envoyé un autre employé pour essayer de réparer la cloison sèche. Cette personne a fait un excellent travail et son travail avait l'air bien.
Le 5 décembre 2019, le toit a recommencé à fuir. J'ai contacté Whitney et il a affirmé qu'il envoyait un équipage pour baliser le toit. Aucun travail de ce type n'a jamais été réalisé comme en témoignent les photos. Notre toit continue de fuir à ce jour et la salle de jeux de nos enfants n'est plus utilisable en raison des craintes liées à la moisissure et à la moisissure.
Seaback Roofing and Restoration a cessé de communiquer même après plusieurs tentatives pour les contacter.
