Le festival du livre en lui-même est plutôt cool, mais la façon dont les policiers de la ville agissent lorsque le centre-ville est loué n'est pas bonne. Je viens de me faire arrêter par un officier à l'intérieur du salon du livre qui a dit que notre groupe ne pouvait pas entrer dans les barrières. Apparemment, lorsque le festival du livre loue de l'espace, il comprend les trottoirs, la police dit que tout est loué de trottoir à trottoir, ce qui signifie pour eux que vous ne pouvez pas du tout aller sur le trottoir.
Il est assez difficile de savoir comment le festival du livre peut louer des trottoirs publics et / ou la police ne sait pas que les trottoirs ne peuvent pas être loués. Bref, juste un incident avec les flics en attente! Il devrait être de la responsabilité du festival du livre d'éduquer et / ou de donner accès à tous les trottoirs.
Le festival n'est peut-être qu'une fois par an, mais ils travaillent dans tout l'État toute l'année pour mettre des livres entre les mains de nos jeunes.
