Je viens d'être associé à Wellington Terrace depuis environ 2 semaines, lorsque mon beau-père a eu le privilège et la chance d'avoir été sélectionné pour faire de WT sa nouvelle maison. Le personnel a été incroyable, car ils apprennent à connaître chaque détail de ses goûts et de ses aversions. Sa santé, sa sécurité et son bien-être sont leur priorité absolue. Je recommanderais vivement cet établissement et le qualifierais de "meilleur en Ontario". MISE À JOUR 17 novembre 2020 ... Personne ne veut voir son proche emménager dans un établissement de soins de longue durée. C'est une conversion difficile à avoir avec un membre de votre famille. Mon seul conseil est de ne pas le remettre à plus tard, jusqu'à ce que la liste des «appels rapprochés» devienne si longue qu'il devienne urgent de passer à l'action. Les listes d'attente pour les meilleurs foyers de soins de longue durée en Ontario sont très longues, alors prévoyez au moins 2 ans à l'avance. Votre bien-aimé vous remerciera à temps. Ma femme et moi avons visité 10 maisons de SLD avant que Covid ne frappe. Nous avons vu des emplacements FOR PROFIT très mal gérés et quelques bons. Wellington Terrace, un établissement à but non lucratif géré par le comté, continue de se démarquer, par-dessus tout. Le personnel est incroyable. Nous avons appris que sans un bon personnel heureux de venir travailler, la maison de SLD n'est pas classée 5 étoiles et vous ne serez pas heureux de placer votre être cher à cet endroit. WT a répondu à toutes nos attentes et nous dormons bien la nuit en sachant que l'être cher est entre de bonnes mains. (avec le temps vous comprendrez ce que je veux dire par ce dernier commentaire, si vous ne savez pas déjà)

Cet établissement est le meilleur établissement pour les personnes âgées qui ont besoin d'aide pour prendre soin d'elles-mêmes. Chaque personne est traitée avec dignité et respect.
