Mon père est un patient privé payant à Carrington Place à Wytheville en Virginie depuis 6 mois. Ses dents (naturelles) n'ont JAMAIS été brossées sauf quand je le faisais. Ses ongles d'orteil n'ont JAMAIS été coupés et sont si longs qu'ils se recroquevillent. Il n'est pas rasé depuis des jours et était censé prendre une douche 2 fois par semaine. Il a eu la chance d'en avoir 1 par semaine. Je lui ai rendu visite tous les deux jours et j'ai vu la même chemise sale sur lui d'une visite à l'autre. J'ai demandé à plusieurs reprises au personnel de lui brosser les dents, de lui donner un bain, de le raser et de prendre soin de ses ongles. Tout ce que j'ai eu, c'est une attitude irrespectueuse. Un autre problème est leur système de facturation. Complètement et délibérément déroutant pour que vous ne sachiez pas ce que vous devriez ou ne devriez pas payer. En bout de ligne... les soins qu'il reçoit sont loin des 7 000 $ par mois qu'il paie. Négligence pure et simple et j'ai l'intention de contacter les autorités compétentes. Oh, et j'ai des photos.

Si vous supervisez Carrington Place à Wytheville, en Virginie, vous négligez la gestion de cette installation. Cet établissement a besoin d'une refonte et de suggestions pour surmonter la négligence des patients et les pratiques de facturation malhonnêtes et déloyales. Vous escroquez les personnes âgées et leurs familles. Je vais contacter mon membre du Congrès.

C'était l'un des emplois les moins organisés pour lesquels j'aie jamais travaillé. En tant que manager, je ne me suis jamais senti en confiance pour prendre la bonne décision. Il y a un tas de gens dans le leadership qui n'ont pas d'expérience dans ce qu'ils font. Sur ce travail, j'ai été constamment intimidé par e-mail pour les délais et j'ai travaillé sous deux descriptions de poste ! Avant cela, je n'avais jamais entendu parler d'une telle chose.
J'ai signé 2 descriptions de poste pour en être responsable mais mon salaire n'était que pour un. La meilleure chose à propos du travail était le personnel de première ligne qui est plus que SOUS-APPRÉCIÉ ! Il n'y a pas de programme d'employé du mois ni de moyen de reconnaissance. Au cours des 9 dernières semaines, j'ai vu le personnel tomber malade tout en prenant soin de nombreux résidents COVID. Ils se mettent en danger. J'y étais 9 mois avait 2 administrateurs. Manque de cohérence, de confiance dans la direction et de cohésion dans l'entreprise, c'est pourquoi elle ne reviendra pas au noir mais restera dans le rouge... perdant de l'argent. Je suis sûr que les propriétaires commenceront à vendre les bâtiments. Je me sens mal pour le personnel, les résidents et les familles.
