Mon enfant de 16 ans a suivi le programme ambulatoire intensif pendant 12 semaines. Au cours des 3 dernières semaines, il a recommencé à être testé positif et les responsables du programme et du groupe ont négligé de me le faire savoir, à moi-même ou à mon mari (malgré la participation à tous les groupes familiaux et mon fils signant une décharge). En appelant pour vérifier une heure de cours, la conseillère de mon fils m'a dit qu'elle ne pouvait pas l'aider et m'a référée à un autre programme. Ils se sont excusés de ne pas m'avoir informé de sa rechute, et c'est la seule bonne chose que je puisse dire à propos du programme.

J'ai aimé être là-bas, c'était incroyable, mais elle m'a aidé à surmonter les problèmes avec le mastic.

Le programme PHP et IOP a été utile et ce dont j'avais besoin à l'époque, mais je sentais que la plupart de l'empathie, de la motivation et du soutien venaient des autres membres du groupe plus que du personnel. Les employés ne sont pas de mauvaises personnes, je pense qu'ils se soucient des individus à un certain niveau, mais malheureusement, en faisant un métier tous les jours, ils perdent cette touche authentique. Vous ne pouvez pas vous attendre à ce qu’ils se soucient réellement de vous au détriment de leurs règles et règlements. Cela ressemble à une extension du monde de l'entreprise dans le domaine de la santé mentale. Je suis reconnaissant pour mes expériences ici, mais je le dois plus à moi-même et aux personnes extraordinaires que j'ai rencontrées qu'au personnel.
