Malheureusement, cette société a acheté la propriété que nous louions. Ils ont utilisé un «agent immobilier» comme intermédiaire. Ce type est un vrai travail. Des appels téléphoniques harcelants, des cris, des jurons, l'envoi de sous-traitants dans la propriété leur disant qu'elle est «vacante» alors que nous y vivons encore. La meilleure partie a été aujourd'hui, lorsque cet «agent» s'est présenté chez nous, à l'improviste et sans préavis (une violation flagrante de la loi sur le locateur propriétaire) pour nous menacer de «faire passer la maison au bulldozer» et de «mauvaises choses» si nous ne sommes pas t out immédiatement, effrayant nos enfants. Même après avoir été invité à ne contacter que notre agent immobilier, et ne pas avoir entamé de procédure d'expulsion légale (simce ça va immobiliser la propriété pendant 3-6 mois), sachant que nous attendons que notre maison ferme pour pouvoir déménager.
Embaucher des intimidateurs pour s'occuper du «sale boulot» d'intimider les gens qui vivent sur les propriétés qu'ils achètent est une pratique commerciale douteuse. Nous poursuivons toutes les actions civiles que nous pouvons contre eux, mais sachez qu'ils emploient ce genre de tactiques.
