Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey is an excellent theater company. I had the pleasure of attending a performance of their latest production and it exceeded all my expectations. Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey is an excellent company. I thoroughly enjoyed their production of "Hamlet". The actors were incredibly talented and brought so much depth to their characters. The set design was also top-notch and really helped to transport me into the world of the play. I highly recommend checking out their shows!

Vous pouvez voir les toutes nouvelles œuvres de certains des meilleurs dramaturges du pays - des nominés au prix Pulitzer comme Joe Sutton ou D.W. Gregory, des gagnants d'Emmy comme Hal Corley, de nouveaux dramaturges importants comme Chisa Hutchinson et Lia Romeo, etc. Et la société utilise tous les acteurs professionnels, réalisateurs, designers, etc. il y arrive. (Et sans payer les prix ridicules des billets à New York.)
Ils produisent des spectacles complets sur scène plusieurs fois par an, mais mon programme préféré est leur série de lecture Soundings. Le théâtre fait quelque chose comme deux semaines consécutives de lectures mises en scène de nouvelles pièces - une nouvelle chaque soir - et fait venir les dramaturges afin que vous puissiez les rencontrer et discuter de la pièce avec eux par la suite. Les dramaturges sont toujours à la recherche de commentaires à ce stade de son développement, de sorte que ce que vous leur dites pourrait aider à façonner la fin du projet final. C'est une façon vraiment cool de faire partie du processus créatif, peu importe qui vous êtes.
Certainement mon théâtre préféré dans le New Jersey et l'un de mes préférés dans le pays!
