Ma mère est décédée il y a une semaine aujourd'hui. Bien que l'hospice n'ait été impliqué que pendant une courte période avec ma mère qui était dans un établissement pour personnes âgées, je suppose que je m'attendais à plus puisque tous ceux avec qui nous étions en contact ont souligné comment ils sont là pour soutenir la famille. Ma famille n'a eu aucun contact de personne à la VNA du comté d'Erie depuis qu'elle est décédée. Le personnel infirmier de l'établissement a dit qu'ils informeraient l'hospice du décès de notre mère, nous étions à l'établissement pendant un certain temps après sa mort, aucun appel de l'hospice, personne n'est venu et une semaine plus tard - toujours rien. Si cela soutient la famille dans ses pires moments, non merci. Le soutien que je reçois de ma famille et de mes amis m'aide à faire face à mon chagrin. VNA of Erie County n'était pas mon premier choix, je suppose que la prochaine fois, je devrais faire confiance à mon instinct. Je ne le recommande vraiment pas. Et VNA si vous lisez ceci, ne vous inquiétez pas d'appeler maintenant, c'est trop tard.
